Brian and his wife, Elyse, raised their four children in Ammon, where they attended church, local schools, participated in sports, and community activities, and benefited from the support of strong leaders, teachers, and peers. Elyse is an educator in Bonneville School District 93, giving Brian a close connection to the challenges and opportunities facing local families. As a graduate of Boise State University, Brian and his family are true Bronco fans and attend BSU sporting events whenever possible. Now a proud grandfather of two, he values safe neighborhoods, strong community values, and open, accessible government.

With over 15 years of leadership in public administration, infrastructure management, and technology systems, Brian has built a reputation for driving innovation, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.

As President of the Eastern Idaho Regional Sewer District (EIRSD), Brian has modernized wastewater infrastructure, secured funding through revenue bonds, and ensured regulatory compliance, advancing growth and protecting public health.

During his 12 years as a City Council Member and Council President in Ammon, Brian was instrumental in the development of the city’s fiber optic infrastructure, positioning Ammon as a leader in municipal broadband. He also played a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, and funding for public works and public safety initiatives.

In both leadership positions, Brian has consistently emphasized fiscal responsibility, transparency, and strong community partnerships. With a background in public finance, technology, and data analytics, he is committed to using modern software advances to build predictive growth patterns and anticipated infrastructure costs for better Target-Based budgeting and city planning.

Brian’s career reflects his dedication to community-centered governance, technological advancement, and responsible development—always with the goal of leaving Ammon stronger for future generations.
